Let me ask you something:

Do you still believe in a Prince?

Maybe your convictions that there are still a few out there are fading, but for one special night all of that won’t be important... Isn't it time you started to believe Ballet Idaho and CitySmart want to bring your childhood prince back to you with today’s deal: $20 for a Section B ticket ($40 value) or $17.50 for a Section C ticket ($35 value) to Firebird from Ballet Idaho.

Legendary Russian heroes include men who are somewhat naïve, completely lacking in malice, and who are refreshingly simple. Prince Ivan is one such hero, victorious over other clever characters that are cruel and complex. Created around a story about a bird that’s magical and fantastic, our brave Prince, a beautiful Princess, ferocious monsters…and you’ve got yourself a fairy tale, choreographed by Artistic Director Peter Anastos and set to Igor Stravinsky’s music that’s a sheer masterpiece of narrative, color and orchestration.

Ballet Idaho wants to make you princess for a night, so click the ‘Buy Now!’ button. Your Prince awaits.

What Do You Call…someone who has choreographed over 100 stage works for national and regional ballet companies, as well as in Europe, Asia and Latin America? That name would be Peter Anastos. His ballets are performed worldwide.

The Master. Born in Soviet Union occupied East Germany, Alex Ossadnik trained in classical ballet, modern, jazz, folkloric and improvisation. He was a principal dancer with the German National Theatre Weimar at the age of 20. Meet Ballet Idaho’s Balletmaster.

Becoming A Principal. Heather Hawk, Phyllis Rothwell Affrunti and Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye know what it takes to be the dancers who are seen the most in any given performance. They’ve been preparing for the spotlight since they were old enough to pirouette. And the spotlight? It loves them. So will you.
